1. Role Overview

Mercor is seeking bilingual English–Hindi language professionals to support a translation quality review initiative with a leading AI research partner. Experts will evaluate AI-generated Hindi content, ensuring it reflects fluent, accurate, and culturally relevant language as commonly used in India. This short-term, flexible project offers a chance to shape the linguistic quality of advanced AI systems.

• Review and evaluate Hindi translations for fluency, clarity, and accuracy.
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, or tone inconsistencies.
• Suggest improvements to ensure natural, idiomatic usage in India.
• Provide structured feedback on linguistic quality and cultural appropriateness.
• Maintain high reading speed and attention to detail across varied content types.

• Native or near-native fluency in both Hindi and English.
• Deep familiarity with contemporary language usage in India.
• 1+ year of experience in translation, localization, or language QA.
• Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to linguistic detail and cultural nuance.
