Spoken Interpreter - Burmese

Overview

Pay: $17.00 per hour

We are hiring work-from-home Burmese interpreters to provide service for clients. The suitable candidate must be fluent in English and Burmese.

Important: If you do not speak Burmese, you will not be considered for this role.

• Handle video calls, interpreting conversations between individuals with limited English language skills and representatives from various industries such as Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, Law Enforcement, and others.

• Fluent in speaking Burmese as well as English
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of medical terminologies is an asset
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Available to work a fixed weekly schedule of a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Legally authorized to work in the US and must reside in the US
• Quiet & secure work-at-home environment
• Stable and fast internet connection
• Comfortable being on camera as interpreting in video calls is mandatory
• Remote position; interpreters must use their own device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone)

• Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
• Language: Burmese (Required)
• Location: Remote (ANY STATE IN THE UNITED STATES)
