Freelance Part Time QA Tester (PST time zone) – Italian

Hogarth is the Global Content Production Company, part of WPP. We partner with top brands such as Coca‑Cola, Ford, Rolex, Nestlé, Mondelez and Dyson. With over 7,500 creative and technology experts, Hogarth delivers content across all channels and media, both established and emerging.

The role is part‑time and freelance, remote. You will work approximately 341 hours a year, 31 hours per month on average, with peak seasons in November and December (50‑75 hours per month). The work is ongoing freelance and part of seasonal marketing campaigns.

• Interpret test requirements and implement technical instructions for content validation.
• Perform test cases outlined in the scripts to validate content staged for publication in various phases: staging, pre‑live, and live.
• Conduct content validation across multiple platforms: web, mobile app, etc.
• Install and use technical tools required for the testing/validation workflow.
• Identify and reproduce bugs within the validation test cases.
• Capture bugs accurately to create fix tickets while assessing gravity or importance of each issue.
• Escalate inquiries using concise and clear language.
• Maintain a malfunction log for reporting bugs.
• Confirm debugging accuracy and update the malfunction log accordingly.
• Learn testing platforms independently to ensure smooth functioning during testing activity.

• Based in the US and willing to work in PST time zone.
• Commitment to flex hours: nights and some weekend hours, if needed.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity independently and make decisions on the spot.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
• Self‑starter and self‑learner able to ramp up quickly in a high‑tech environment.
• A relentless passion for perfection and a keen eye for detail.
• Team player who steps in to help peers when needed.
• Excellent understanding of filing fix tickets with clear, concise instructions for engineering.
• Minimum one year of experience in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to transcribe issues using concise technical language for the engineering team.
• Proven track record of minimal supervision during testing activities.

• Experience testing across web, mobile apps, etc.
• Native or near‑native speaker of Italian, as well as English.
• Previous experience as a tester/validator in any field.
• Experience interpreting test scripts and implementing technical instructions in real time validation.
• Experience working in a cross‑cultural, multi‑national organization.
• Experience with ticketing and content management systems.

• Monday to Friday, flexible schedule within business hours.
• May be asked to work outside core hours due to business needs, including weekends and nights.
• Must have at least two iOS devices 2016 or newer, including a Mac.
• 100 % work from home.
