Job Summary

Bilingual Karen Interpreter (Remote) – join Kelly as a work-from-home interpreter for Karenic, S'gaw Karen, Pwo Karen, and Pa'O. Candidates must fluently speak both English and Karenic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle video calls interpreting conversations between individuals with limited English language skills and representatives from various industries such as Healthcare, Insurance, Finance, Law Enforcement, and others.

Required Qualifications
  • Fluent in speaking S'gaw Karen and English
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of medical terminologies is an asset
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Available to work a fixed weekly schedule of minimum 20 hours per week
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and reside in the U.S.
  • Have a suitable quiet & secure work‑at‑home environment
  • Have a stable and fast internet connection
  • Comfortable on camera as interpreting in video calls will be mandatory
  • Use own device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone) for interpreting services
Job Details

Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

Day shift, Evening shift, Morning shift, Night shift
