Translation Coordination work experience

Verboo a dynamic language services agency based in Central London with a diverse portfolio of clients in the entertainment sector and beyond, is looking for a Translation Coordination work experience individual to support its project coordination team. This role will provide invaluable hands‑on experience in many aspects of translation, editorial & subtitling work
, as well as a grounding in the business operations of a busy agency in the entertainment industry.

Shadowing the Senior Translation Project Manager, your primary role will be the maintenance of our translation memory and database while exploring cutting‑edge AI tools to help drive continuous improvements in translation quality as our business grows. You will also be involved in the preparation of material in a variety of languages for use in a wide range of industries:
formatting, editing, fact‑checking, proofreading & helping to place work with translators. There may also be opportunities to gain experience in our subtitling department.

This challenging work‑experience placement would suit a graduate or student of modern languages, translation or similar who is looking to pursue a career in translation and language services. The ideal candidate should possess great organisational and excellent teamwork skills, meticulous attention to detail and be fluent in at least one language other than English
.

The role would be full‑time, 5 days a week and would be hybrid with the candidate expected to work from home but also have the option of working from a central London office location for 1–2 days per week.

We are looking for someone who can start towards the middle to end of February.
