Cambodian Remote Interpreter role at Certified Languages International (CLI).
The position is 100% over-the-phone interpretation and is work from home; you set your own schedule. CLI utilizes freelance interpreters (independent contractors). CLI has clients needing interpreting service 24/7 and you can provide your service any time using our online portal or your landline telephone to log on and off.
Responsibilities- The position that’s available is 100% over-the-phone interpretation.
- CLI serves many industries; most calls are medical in nature, including insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service and state courts.
- Work from home as a freelancer; you log on/off using our online portal or landline; you set your own schedule to meet client needs 24/7.
- You must meet all of the requirements to work in the United States legally (SSN or EIN & Photo ) and you must reside in the United States.
- CLI’s Language Assessment is required.
- Minimum two years of professional interpreting experience is preferred.
- We’re currently not recruiting interpreters in New York. If you live in New York, please do not apply.
- Payment for rendered services is on a per minute basis and interpreters are paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting. Payment is issued twice a month, on the 15th and on the last day of the month via direct deposit.
