Vietnamese US-based Interpreter
As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between VIETNAMESE and English speakers. The interpreter needs to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet & secure environment. Note pads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and VIETNAMESE
- Minimum 2-year interpretation experience preferred but not required
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
- Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the client's request
Technical Requirements:
- Computer or Laptop
- Windows 10 or higher
- USB Wired headset
- Steady wired internet connection
