Position: KO-EN Music & App Copy Editor JD

Job Summary
The Editor is responsible for reviewing music-related content in English, such as album notes, and providing sanity check on App-related content in English. Source copy of these content will be Korean.

Key Qualifications

Proven experience editing or writing content related to various music genres and Apps, ensuring clarity, coherence, and consistency.
Familiarity with contemporary music terminology, trends, and industry conventions.
Ability to tailor tone and style to suit different contexts and audiences.
Awareness of cultural influences and regional preferences in content.
Sharp awareness of pop culture, with a keen understanding of language, trends, and references commonly used in mainstream and ultra-popular contexts. Ability to avoid overly formal or stiff tones to maintain relevance and authenticity.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Proficient English language skills in copywriting and editing.
Excellent Korean skills, capable of daily communication and translating Korean content into English
Demonstrated responsibility and attention to detail.
Proactive work attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment as a collaborative team member.
Capability to adhere to schedules and implement plans with meticulous attention to detail.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in media, journalism, or a related field.
