Responsibilities
  • Manage indemnity claims for work-related injuries and diseases, ensuring cost-effective conclusions
  • Evaluate claims and determine compensability by applying established policies and guidelines
  • Conduct interviews and gather facts to make informed decisions on claims
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely return to work
  • Analyze reports and adjust claim strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance
  • Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid workers’ compensation adjuster license preferred; must be eligible to obtain additional licenses
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multiple state claims management
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and court procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a paperless environment
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office suite
