Claims Associate - Liability; REMOTE - NY or Hawaii License

• Analyze reported lower-level general liability claims to determine benefits due
• Handle lower-level liability and/or physical damage claims under close supervision
• Communicate claim actions and processing with claimants, clients, and appropriate medical contacts
• Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is accurate
• Process routine payments and prescriptions for medical claims as needed

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current insurance license in either New York (NY) or Hawaii (HI)
• One (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to support claims representatives and leads with larger or more complex claims
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with claimants and clients

• Experience in claims processing or insurance-related roles
• Familiarity with general liability claims and related documentation
• Understanding of industry standards and best practices in claims adjudication
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong analytical skills to assess claims accurately
