• Handle complex and high-profile Workers' Compensation claims in accordance with company standards
• Investigate claims to determine validity and compensability, and file necessary documentation with state agencies
• Develop and manage action plans with case managers to reduce overall claim costs
• Communicate claim status with customers and claimants while adhering to client and carrier guidelines
• Manage subrogation and litigation aspects of claims as applicable

• Minimum of 6 years of industry experience and claim handling
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel spreadsheets
• Knowledge of claims administration, case management, and cost containment solutions related to Workers’ Compensation

• Self-Insured Certificate
• State Certification as an experienced Examiner
