Job Description
For the Account Manager Who Wants More Than an Inbox to Manage
You're organized, relationship-driven, and genuinely good at keeping things moving. You know commercial lines, you know how to talk to clients, and you've probably spent time at a place where the work was fine but something was missing — the culture, the growth opportunity, or simply the feeling that your contributions actually mattered.
If you're looking for a team where the work is meaningful, the standards are high, and the people around you push you to be better, we'd like to introduce ourselves.
About UsRicci Insurance Group is an independent agency that has spent 11 years building something most people in this industry spend their careers looking for: a place where the infrastructure, culture, and carrier access actually match the ambition of the people on the team. We've been recognized as an INC 5000 company, a JBJ Fast 50 winner (2024 & 2025), a Best Place to Work, and a Best Agency for Retention — that last one matters, because the people who join us tend to stay.
WhatYou'll Find Here
A collaborative team environment where your expertise is respected and your growth is taken seriously. Commercial lines is never static — the coverage questions are complex, the market evolves, and no two accounts are quite the same. You'll work alongside producers and agency leadership who are invested in doing things the right way, which means you'll spend your time on work that genuinely challenges you and rewards the kind of person who is always looking to learn and get better.
This is an office-based role with hybrid flexibility available for the right candidate.
Our best team members are proactive by nature. They don't wait to be told there's a problem — they've already identified it and are working on the solution. They're energized by client relationships, energized by complex coverage challenges, and hold themselves to a standard that doesn't require much external accountability. They're also lifelong learners who see every complicated account or difficult question as an opportunity to grow.
If that sounds like you, we should talk.

Role Overview
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Ricci Insurance Group, you'll serve as the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, managing the day-to-day relationship between clients, carriers, and the agency. This is a detail-oriented, client-first role that requires both technical knowledge and genuine people skills.
- Serving as the Client's Advocate
Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, serving as their go-to resource for questions, coverage concerns, and day-to-day needs. Clients should always feel like they have someone in their corner who knows their account inside and out. - Managing the Renewal Process
Own the renewal cycle from start to finish — reviewing exposures, re-marketing accounts where appropriate, and preparing renewal proposals that are clear, timely, and genuinely consultative rather than just transactional. - Preparing Client-Facing Materials
Develop insurance summaries, coverage schedules, and proposals that help clients understand what they have, what they need, and why it matters. The goal is always clarity and confidence, not confusion. - Keeping Accounts Current and Accurate
Maintain and update client files in the agency management system with care and consistency. The details matter, and you treat them that way. - Communicating Proactively
Process and respond to incoming client and carrier communications efficiently, and anticipate needs before they become urgent. Being ahead of the conversation is part of how you build trust. - Identifying Opportunities to Better Serve Clients
When you see a gap in a client's coverage or an opportunity to provide more comprehensive…
