Financial Analyst Specialist, Insurance Claims & Legal - Remote

• Lead the monthly close process through reporting and analytics of operating expenses and loss adjustment expenses
• Drive quarterly forecasting and 3-year planning processes in partnership with leadership
• Conduct complex analysis of initiatives and business outcomes to reduce expenses and indemnity costs
• Own the staffing model for the Personal Lines Claims department and lead staffing discussions
• Support FP&A transformation initiatives to improve insights and organizational efficiency

• Minimum of 6 years of financial planning experience, preferably in an insurance company
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of claims processes and operational expense reporting
• Ability to partner with senior leaders to influence strategic decision-making
• Proficiency in planning and reporting software, with experience in data management principles

• Demonstrated involvement in shaping company culture through mentorship, volunteering, or cross-functional projects
• Willingness to travel as needed for team meetings and in-person collaboration
• Ownership mindset that extends beyond individual responsibilities
