Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Field Claims Adjuster - Liability to join our team in Montréal, Québec, Canada. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid, or fully remote working arrangements.

This role requires frequent interactions in English and reading and preparing documents in English on a frequent basis.

The successful candidate will evaluate claims through loss investigation and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining production levels and customer relationships.

• Investigate, collect, and analyze claims information
• Examine policies and settle claims while maintaining claims costs and complying with provincial regulations
• Accurately record, report, and present files
• Maintain accurate billing and time/expense records
• Work with the manager to maintain client relations

• Bilingual (French & English)
• Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field
• College diploma in insurance related field (asset)
• Minimum 5 years of functional/technical experience in an insurance environment
• Valid personal and commercial AMF license
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Office 365 and Windows 10
• Team player with excellent customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Regular travel to loss sites required
