Insurance Broker

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an independent Insurance Broker located in Georgetown, ON, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Insurance Broker will manage client relationships, assist clients in selecting and securing suitable insurance options, and provide knowledge and insights into financial and retirement planning needs. Responsibilities include evaluating clients' coverage needs, sourcing competitive insurance policies, addressing inquiries, processing insurance applications, and maintaining strong professional relationships with multiple insurers and clients alike.

• Proven expertise in Insurance Brokerage, insurance products, and underwriting process
• Proficiency in financial services and knowledge of Retirement Planning strategies
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to provide client-focused, personalized assistance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, balancing office-based and remote responsibilities effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Valid insurance brokerage license and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with insurance software platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office
