• Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision
• Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns
• Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims
• Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
• Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors or managers as needed

• 2+ years of Casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience
• High School Diploma or GED or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
• Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses (state-specific) within the first 90 days of employment
• Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours of 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your time zone
• Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities

• 3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience
• Prior experience with Commercial policies
• BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area
• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
