Your Role As a Subrogation Assistant, you are fully trained in all core aspects of the role and continue to develop expertise. You work under general supervision, receiving guidance for routine tasks and detailed instruction for new or complex assignments. You apply job knowledge, skills, and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks.

• Utilizes multiple systems to service policies and process transactions such as address changes, loss payee updates, total loss vehicle removals, and Evidence of Insurance requests.
• Creates insurance documents and new business packets in accordance with established procedures.
• Answers calls and resolves issues on the help desk.
• Investigates billing and payment discrepancies issues to resolution and prepares supporting documentation.
• Reviews applications for insurance eligibility and binds new business policies.
• Performs quality control and compliance review within work areas as assigned.

• Strong customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Working knowledge of office procedures and processes
• High school diploma or equivalent plus vocational training
• 2 – 3 years of clerical, office or support experience
• P&C license required if binding new business policies

• Ability to create basic MS Office documents and spreadsheets
• Insurance knowledge strongly preferred
• Insurance systems knowledge strongly preferred
• Basic analytical skills
• Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.)
• Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
• Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings
• Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.

Please note we are hiring for this role remote anywhere in the United States with the following exceptions Hawaii and Alaska.
