We re Hiring Immediately! Converse Insurance Agency, a brokerage, is growing. Converse Insurance connects customers with the best insurance solutions among multiple carriers. As a Converse Insurance Service Agent, you ll have the flexibility to develop a career by servicing customers on their Auto, Home and Commercial insurance policies.

Pay:
Starting $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• Provides exceptional customer service by responding promptly to all inbound customer and referral partner network calls and emails regarding personal lines policies
• Listens to customers  and referral partners  requests and inquiries
• Works to retain policyholders who inquire about canceling auto policies through open listening, negotiating, and policy review of customer issues
• Escalating issues to appropriate team if necessary
• Processes policyholder transactions accurately and within established time standards
• Understands aspects of billing systems as it pertains to policy coverage
• Identifies and communicates transactions and impact to policy premium
• Evaluates and makes decisions regarding exceptions to payment plan and fees
• Makes alternate payment arrangements with customers and interacts with billing system to reflect arrangements
• Places policy in follow-up and ensures adherence to arrangements specified
• Manages and utilizes time effectively to ensure client satisfaction
• Develops and maintains product, procedural and technical systems knowledge
• Looks for opportunities to improve processes within team or department through mentorship
• Participates in training of new service agents through job shadowing, work review, coaching and feedback
• Utilizes technical systems, effectively and efficiently, including desktop, phone systems and the internet
• Performs additional duties as assigned

• Preferred Experience (but not limited to):
  Previous employment in a service agent role where you have successfully assisted customers
• A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with Converse Insurance s training and support—in Property & Casualty

• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build rapport with existing customers
• Effective time management and organizational skills

• Ability to learn insurance coverage, underwriting guidelines, and carrier platforms
• Familiarity with assisting and growing customer base

• High School Degree with relevant service experience
