Senior Commercial Underwriter

This is a Senior Commercial Underwriter position, offering a hybrid work model based in Red Bank, NJ, with the flexibility of remote work. The Senior Commercial Underwriter will evaluate and analyze risks for commercial insurance applications, determine appropriate coverage and rates, and ensure adherence to company standards. The role involves collaboration with clients, brokers, and internal teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements effectively.

• Strong Analytical Skills essential for evaluating risk and making data-driven decisions
• Comprehensive knowledge of Underwriting principles and practices
• Solid understanding of Insurance and Finance concepts, particularly related to commercial insurance
• Experience in financial products and excess workers' compensation.
• Technical evaluation of coverage structures, limits, and retentions.
• Coordination, submissions, and market negotiations.
• Technical support for claims
  -related coverage interpretation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to adapt in a hybrid work environment and manage time effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Certifications such as CPCU or other industry designations are a plus
