Commercial Reserving Actuarial Analyst - Remote

• Research and develop new methods for loss reserving
• Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss reserves
• Perform complex data analysis with minimal oversight
• Develop and analyze new methodologies for commercial insurance loss reserving
• Provide training and guidance to junior Actuarial Analysts

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis in Commercial or Personal lines insurance (Commercial Auto preferred)
• Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience specifically in actuarial analysis on Commercial Auto lines insurance
• Effective computer programming skills
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of the actuarial industry and ability to contribute to company culture initiatives
