Talati Oliver James is working with a leading insurance carrier that is looking to hire a Reinsurance Claims Account Manager. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of assumed reinsurance claims matters including being the liaison between internal claims teams, brokers and other insurance partners. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maximising recoverable amounts under reinsurance treaties and facultative placements.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Assumed Reinsurance Claims Management & Processing
* Review and validate assumed reinsurance claims to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract terms and conditions.
* Coordinate the submission, tracking, and resolution of reinsurance recoveries, including facultative and treaty claims.
* Analyse claim data and documentation to confirm reinsurance applicability and recovery potential

* Education & Experience:

*** Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience within reinsurance claims and/or operations.
* Strong understanding of reinsurance structures (treaty, facultative, proportional, and non-proportional).
* Strong understanding or bordereaux management.
* Strong understanding of commercial insurance / reinsurance claims

Along with being FULLY REMOTE, this position offers a salary of $110,000 – $130,000 + 15% annual bonus. A very strong understanding of assumed reinsurance claims within commercial P&C claims is required to be considered.
