- Contribute to the development of appropriate strategies, processes, and procedures for the Claims operation to support the delivery of business targets.
- Assist in the forecast of Claims activity through analysis of business levels and knowledge of the Claims environment to support decision-making.
- Maintain efficient handling of own caseload to ensure the prompt, timely, and effective handling of reinsurance Claims on the London market.
- Resolve customer service issues to ensure their prompt and timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain good client relationships with the re-insured and brokers.
- Approve reinsurance claims within written authority levels.
- Experience in handling specialty claims matters (Aviation, A&H, credit risk, Marine & Energy).
- Experience of working within the Reinsurance/ insurance/legal industry.
- 30 days holiday a year with the option to buy up to 2 additional days.
