The Property & Casualty Client Service Associate is a client-facing role supporting the Property & Casualty insurance team and delivering a high-quality client experience. Working closely with the P&C Manager, this position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage client relationships and service workflows.
This role is open to both entry-level candidates seeking to begin a licensed insurance career and experienced candidates who already hold an active New Jersey Property & Casualty license.
For unlicensed candidates, this is an entry point into a licensed insurance career, beginning in client service and progressing into a licensed sales and account management role. The individual in this position is expected to pursue New Jersey Property & Casualty licensure within 3–6 months of onboarding, with training and support provided.
For licensed candidates, this role offers the opportunity to step into a structured, growth-oriented environment with a defined path toward expanded service, sales, and account management responsibilities.
This is not a call-center role, but a structured, career-oriented position supporting long-term client relationships.
Opportunity for partial remote work (up to two days per week) after required onboarding and training are completed.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary point of contact for Property & Casualty clients, managing inquiries, requests, and follow-ups.
- Assist with policy changes, billing questions, certificates, and general account servicing.
- Handle inbound phone calls and emails with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Complete daily tasks and priorities assigned by the Property & Casualty Manager.
- Maintain accurate client records and support internal workflows and documentation standards.
- Learn carrier systems, policy structures, and coverage fundamentals through training and hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with licensed team members to ensure consistent and reliable client service.
- Strong communication skills; highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling a high volume of client calls, emails, and service requests while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Reliable, coachable, and able to follow established processes
- Client-first mindset with strong follow-through and accountability
- Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, or call-center environments preferred
- Active New Jersey Property & Casualty insurance license preferred but not required
- Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain licensure within 3–6 months
- Starting salary: $40,000–$45,000, commensurate with experience and licensing status, plus bonus eligibility
