Subrogation Specialist

Overview

Employer Industry: Insurance

• Review and analyze third-party liability claims for recovery potential
• Interact with claimants, attorneys, and insurance carriers to gather necessary information
• Provide weekly status reports on open subrogation claims
• Document and track subrogation files through to completion
• Support additional projects as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive insurance and subrogation experience
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Good understanding of medical claims and ability to analyze claim situations
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Experience with claims adjusters and understanding of health benefit summary plan descriptions
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to subrogation
