Senior General Liability Claims Adjuster - Remote

Overview

Responsible for managing a caseload of commercial auto and general liability claims from inception to resolution. Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims to ensure fair and timely settlements for policyholders while effectively managing costs and exposures for the insurance carrier. Interpret general liability insurance policies to determine coverage and liability. Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties to achieve fair and cost-effective resolutions.

Evaluate settlement options and make recommendations based on liability exposure and policy provisions.

• Responsible for managing a caseload of commercial auto and general liability claims from inception to resolution.
• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims to ensure fair and timely settlements for policyholders while effectively managing costs and exposures for the insurance carrier.
• Interpret general liability insurance policies to determine coverage and liability.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties to achieve fair and cost-effective resolutions.
• Evaluate settlement options and make recommendations based on liability exposure and policy provisions.

• $80,000 - $90,000+/year (Depending on Experience)
• Annual bonus of up to $5,000
• Medical benefits and 401(K)

• 6+ years of experience handling commercial auto and general liability/bodily injury claims (slip & falls, premise, etc.)
• Previous experience handling litigated claims
• As many state adjuster’s licenses as possible
• Experience handling claims for property management (i.e. apartment complexes) is required
