Commercial Lines Account Manager DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assume responsibility for assigned accounts;
• Work with Service team to request updated renewal information, from insured clients;
• Prepare account submissions, which includes completing applications, supplemental forms, and other information needed for policy renewal;
• Assist in preparing proposals and associated materials for Sales presentations;
• Obtain binding conditions/subjectivities from clients;
• Delegate specified tasks and assignments to support team, as appropriate
• Coordinate with service team to issue Certificates of Insurance with appropriate corresponding, required documents upon request;
• Document management system
• Service accounts in a manner to eliminate E&O exposures;
• Maintain regular, pro‑active communication with service team members;
• Assume other job responsibilities as assigned

• Professional work ethic
• Excellent Effective oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with co‑workers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts;
• Possess knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, with the ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance policies, documents and regulations
• Ability to apply the concepts of basic accounting
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
• Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities
• Stay informed regarding industry information, new product developments, legislation, lines of coverage, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of Agency management (AMS
  360) software system and office equipment is a Plus

• Commercial Insurance: 3 years required
• Commercial Insurance 5-7 years (Preferred)

• State Property & Casualty License (Required)

• English
• Spanish Bilingual a plus
