Commercial Lines Account Manager DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume responsibility for assigned accounts;
- Work with Service team to request updated renewal information, from insured clients;
- Prepare account submissions, which includes completing applications, supplemental forms, and other information needed for policy renewal;
- Assist in preparing proposals and associated materials for Sales presentations;
- Obtain binding conditions/subjectivities from clients;
- Delegate specified tasks and assignments to support team, as appropriate
- Coordinate with service team to issue Certificates of Insurance with appropriate corresponding, required documents upon request;
- Document management system
- Service accounts in a manner to eliminate E&O exposures;
- Maintain regular, pro‑active communication with service team members;
- Assume other job responsibilities as assigned
- Professional work ethic
- Excellent Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with co‑workers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts;
- Possess knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, with the ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance policies, documents and regulations
- Ability to apply the concepts of basic accounting
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities
- Stay informed regarding industry information, new product developments, legislation, lines of coverage, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of Agency management (AMS
360) software system and office equipment is a Plus
- Commercial Insurance: 3 years required
- Commercial Insurance 5-7 years (Preferred)
- State Property & Casualty License (Required)
- English
- Spanish Bilingual a plus
- United States Required
- Remote (NJ)
