Zurich Insurance is seeking a Part‑Time RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster I to join our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team. This position is based in Georgia (virtual office), requires a home‑based office, and is scheduled for 20 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours. Approximately 50% travel is expected to cover the territory.

Ideally, candidates live or service within a 50–60 mile radius of Albany, Valdosta, Tifton, Cordele, or Bainbridge.

• Complete field inspections with minimal supervision, reading maps and aerial photos, measuring fields and storage bins, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers on complex, non‑routine claims.
• Convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry stakeholders.
• Perform fact finding regarding crop damage, record information, and transmit loss information to accurately determine potential indemnities.
• Gather relevant facts, utilizing applicable law and establishing basic principles of negligence.
• Complete claim reviews and audits on lower‑level adjusters as assigned.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Contribute to team projects and related results as needed.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 6 months experience in the agricultural area.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) required and must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to walk up to 3 miles in fields, climb storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25–50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Prior experience as a Crop Claims Field Adjuster.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.

The proposed hourly range for this position is $20.96–$28.75, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
