• Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high potential exposure
• Analyze coverage, determining compensability and benefits
• Establish reserves and negotiate settlements
• Conduct meetings on the phone with insureds and claimants
• Prepare large loss reports for both internal and external audiences

• Minimum of 10 to 13 years of California workers' compensation claims adjusting experience with higher exposure claims
• Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in California
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with various internal and external contacts
• Strong consideration for candidates with industry designations including Associate in Claims

• Experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
• Additional industry certifications or designations
• Proven track record of successful claims resolution
• Familiarity with California workers' compensation laws and practices
