Property Adjuster; Property Specialist II

• Investigate, evaluate, estimate, and process property claims primarily through phone and other internal communication channels
• Handle personal and commercial losses, including structure, contents, and business income losses
• Provide customizable claims service by assigning preferred contractors and independent adjusters
• Review work of independent adjusters and preferred contractors for quality assurance
• Assist with catastrophe claims handling, requiring potential overnight travel or extended stays

• Minimum of 5 years  property experience handling residential and commercial losses
• Must possess a college degree or equivalent in insurance or business
• Experience as an inside property specialist or equivalent in the insurance industry
• Must obtain and maintain all applicable adjuster licensing within 6 months
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Continuing education in insurance through IIA and/or CPCU or other accredited providers
• Previous experience with claims settlement techniques and knowledge of personal and commercial policy products
