High Value Residential Insurance Inspector

Signature Companies is seeking a self‑starting, self‑motivated independent contractor (1099) to perform field inspections of high value residential properties in Eastern New York. The role offers flexibility and the potential to supplement or replace current income.

• Work from your home office.
• Coordinate and complete on‑site surveys within your own schedule.
• Communicate findings via the Loss Control 360 web portal.
• Generate an estimated replacement value and identify major hazards.
• Document construction materials, unique features, and measurements.
• Interact professionally with homeowners, agents, and underwriters.
• Maintain digital photography, measurements, and reports.

• Schedule and conduct on‑site high value property surveys.
• Take photos and measurements, noting any concerns for underwriting.
• Complete web‑based reports in a timely manner.
• Provide mentoring and support through Field Management.

• Prior underwriting, residential inspection, or loss control experience desirable.
• Construction experience desired, but not required.
• BA or BS degree desired, but not required.
• Must own a smartphone, tablet, personal computer, reliable vehicle, and have Auto & General Liability insurance.
• High‑speed internet, DSLR or high‑resolution smartphone camera (≥16MP), and measuring tools (laser, tape, wheel).

Work flexibly as an independent contractor; receive field management mentoring; potential for supplementary or primary income.
