• Salary up to $242,000
• Minimum of 18 days paid time off each full calendar year, pro-rated quarterly based on hire date

• Act as a subject matter expert and drive the sales and underwriting relationship for Programs products and services
• Review complex individual risks and approve accounts exceeding underwriting authority due to their complexity
• Direct the development and monitoring of underwriting guidelines, rates, forms, and procedures
• Build and maintain effective relationships with program managers to generate growth and profitability
• Identify new program opportunities and facilitate the due diligence process for new initiatives

• Minimum of eight years of related experience as a Professional, Financial, and/or Specialty lines underwriter
• Undergraduate studies with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or Risk Management; graduate degree preferred
• In-depth knowledge of underwriting policies, practices, and insurance law
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various business partners
• Proven ability to analyze complex insurance risks and make sound decisions

• Program leadership experience in professional lines of business
• Knowledge of financial documents, financial analysis, and market conditions
• Familiarity with the wholesale brokerage distribution system
• Strong project and process management skills
