Job Description
Farmers Insurance District 30 is seeking motivated, driven individuals to join our Agent in Training Program. This opportunity is designed for professionals who want a structured path into the insurance industry with hands-on experience, leadership development, and long-term career potential.

As an Agent in Training, you’ll gain practical exposure to agency operations, sales, and client relationship management while being supported by experienced leaders. This role is intended to prepare individuals for future advancement, including agency leadership and ownership opportunities.

• Learn and apply insurance sales and service best practices
• Work with clients to understand their insurance needs
• Present insurance solutions including auto, home, life, health, medicare, and financial services
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support day-to-day agency operations
• Participate in training, coaching, and professional development
• Engage in community outreach and networking activities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Coachable and open to feedback
• Ability to work independently while following established processes
• Commitment to ethical business practices
• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Illinois Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses (or willingness to obtain—licensing classes provided)
• Series 6, 63 or 65 licenses (or willingness to obtain - licensing classes provided)
