Complex LOSS PI CLAIMS Handler

Position: COMPLEX LOSS PI CLAIMS HANDLER (Permanent)
Mainly home based with a monthly office day

RTA claims of a complex technical nature we have a perfect role for you with excellent prospects and rewards.

The successful applicant will proactively manage a caseload of technically complex claims with a value of £500k to £1million including fatalities, mild brain, and serious orthopaedic injury claims whilst operating within Delegated Authority and reserving and reporting to reinsurers when required.

You’ll also provide technical support and guidance to less experienced claims handlers and handle technical referrals where required.

To be considered for this senior role you MUST have a solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), Serious Injury Guide (SIG), The Rehabilitation Code and litigation procedure.

You will have worked in a similar role within the Insurance industry in the UK for several years, unfortunately just solicitor background won’t be suitable. You’ll need experience of handling complex claims in the £100k-£1million range.
