Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines (Remote)
Join Insurance Office of America as a Senior Account Manager in the Commercial Lines segment. This fully remote role (Eastern and Central Time Zones only) supports large accounts – contractors, property, and mid‑market accounts.
About the RoleManage an assigned book of business with a focus on account retention, new business development, and exceptional customer service. Serve as a subject‑matter expert for the account team while coordinating day‑to‑day administrative activities and handling complex customer requests.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high technical competence and industry expertise.
- Lead daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
- Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
- Manage policy expirations and renewals, including client research, submissions, and negotiations.
- Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
- Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy.
- Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate transparently with the account team on workload status and issues.
- Deliver excellent service, proactively anticipating client needs.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures and seek best practices for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate integrity and leadership by championing IOA values.
- 5+ years of account management experience, or 7+ years in the insurance industry.
- Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
- Active licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High school diploma or equivalent.

The expected pay range is $80,000–$105,000 annually, based on experience and location.
