Joining our Global Specialties Unit, you’ll be a part of the Cyber Underwriting team seeking profitable growth of portfolio by delivering a market leading level of service and underwriting to our brokers and customers.

You’ll be responsible for the Underwriting of Cyber Business, in accordance with the relevant strategies, guidelines, authorities and pricing guidance, as well as contributing to the achievement of the Cyber of business strategic and operational objectives.

As the Cyber Underwriter, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Support delivery and execution of plan.
• Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Champion the growth of cyber insurance within your region
• Working towards increased levels of authority to support team goals.
• Working closely with the Head of Cyber to build knowledge base.
• Promptly handle and positively resolve enquiries from brokers, customers and colleagues.
• Ensure that accurate records are maintained and the prompt production of quality documentation, in accordance with guidelines.

• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Particularly strong capacity to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills regarding internal and external interaction – the majority of your team will be based in London, maintaining a continuous feedback loop will be essential to success.
• Self-drive and willingness to work independently.
• Have a proactive flexible approach.
• Effective numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
