• Assess risk and determine appropriate coverage and pricing for personal lines insurance policies
• Develop strategies to retain existing clients by conducting policy reviews and identifying coverage gaps
• Maintain knowledge of available markets to negotiate placements effectively
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues
• Ensure compliance with quality control guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; industry experience may substitute for degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines underwriting or a related insurance role
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with excellent communication abilities
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Required Property & Casualty License and Surplus Lines License within 45 days of start date

• Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CPCU, AINS) and/or prior experience in the Surplus Lines industry
