Zurich Insurance is seeking a Claims Manager to join our Management Solutions Group. The successful candidate will work out of either our 4 World Trade Center, NY or Parsippany, NJ office and lead a team of Legal Claims Professionals handling Public D&O, Fiduciary, and Transactional Liability claims.

• Lead and direct a team of Legal Claims Professionals.
• Coordinate work activities, performance, development, and coaching of staff.
• Act as a technical resource for the team.
• Manage internal and external customer relationships.
• Exchange timely information with upstream claim managers, line‑of‑business underwriters, actuaries, finance, brokers, and account partners.
• Provide flexibility to work across other Financial Lines teams as needed.
• Support the hybrid workforce model by reporting to the 4 World Trade Center, NY or Parsippany, NJ office 3 days per week.

• Juris Doctor and 5+ years of claims experience, OR
• B.Sc. and 6+ years of claims experience, OR
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of claims experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Collaboration across work groups.
• Knowledge of insurance legal statutes and procedures.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and regulatory environment.
• Travel 0‑20%.

• Negotiation experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of the insurance industry and regulatory environment.
• Experience handling Financial Lines claims.
• Effective presentation skills to LOB managers, claimants, and customers.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Advanced degree.
• Leadership and/or employee development experience.
• AIC, SCLA, CPCU certifications.

The nationwide market range for this position is $ to $. Short‑term incentive bonus eligibility is set at 15%.
