Base pay and compensation

The base pay range is $66,000.00/yr - $/yr. This range is provided by Gallagher Bassett. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The compensation package also includes a comprehensive set of benefits as described in the Benefits section.

Responsibilities
  • Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and resolve claims.
  • Interact with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of clients, demonstrating empathy throughout the claims process.
  • Handle claims in accordance with clients’ and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies, complying with statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
  • Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently to support claim outcomes.
About You
Ideal candidates for this position will have:
  • Claims background: minimum of 3-5 years handling lost time/indemnity claims with extensive experience on litigated files
  • Jurisdictional experience: IA, WI
  • Active adjusters’ licenses: IA, WI
Team role and expectations
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers compensation claims using analytical skills to reach informed resolutions.
  • Partner with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process.
  • Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize tasks to best serve clients and claimants.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years related claims experience
  • Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Computer experience with related claims and business software
Desirable
  • Bachelor’s Degree
