Base pay and compensationThe base pay range is $66,000.00/yr - $/yr. This range is provided by Gallagher Bassett. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The compensation package also includes a comprehensive set of benefits as described in the Benefits section.
Responsibilities- Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and resolve claims.
- Interact with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of clients, demonstrating empathy throughout the claims process.
- Handle claims in accordance with clients’ and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies, complying with statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
- Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently to support claim outcomes.
Ideal candidates for this position will have:
- Claims background: minimum of 3-5 years handling lost time/indemnity claims with extensive experience on litigated files
- Jurisdictional experience: IA, WI
- Active adjusters’ licenses: IA, WI
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers compensation claims using analytical skills to reach informed resolutions.
- Partner with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process.
- Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize tasks to best serve clients and claimants.
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years related claims experience
- Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Computer experience with related claims and business software
- Bachelor’s Degree
