We are seeking a driven and customer‑focused Casualty Loss Adjuster to join our UK Adjusting team.
In this field based position, you will manage a portfolio of casualty, public liability and employers’ liability claims from instruction through to completion. You’ll investigate claims on behalf of insurers, visit policyholders, produce high‑quality reports and ensure cases progress efficiently and in line with service expectations.
This is a remote based role, with travel to sites across the Midlands as required.
How you'll make an impact- Manage a caseload of casualty claims from first instruction to settlement.
- Conduct site visits to investigate and assess claims, typically up to £100k.
- Produce detailed reports and maintain full diary control of your cases.
- Drive proactive claims management to achieve timely and cost‑effective outcomes.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
- Work to reduce claim spend and meet client SLAs.
- Contribute to monthly financial targets as part of the wider team.
- Ensure compliance with Gallagher Bassett procedures and standards.
- Carry out any additional duties required to support the Adjusting function.
- Strong customer focus with a proven record of delivering excellent service.
- Solid experience handling casualty, public liability and employers’ liability claims.
- Confident in long‑format report writing.
- Ability to validate third‑party property claims and assess personal injury losses using guidelines and precedent.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage a busy caseload independently.
- IT proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and handle claims cradle‑to‑grave.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands.
