Excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Desk Adjuster to join a high quality Claims Management business.

The role of the Desk Adjuster is to be responsible for all aspects of property claim investigation, consideration of policy coverage, validation process of appropriate settlement in an efficient and timely manner.
This will ideally be a hybrid position based out of GHG Ireland’s office in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland however a home-based position can be considered for the right candidate.
What will you be responsible for:You will be expected to handle claims from cradle to grave, managing a portfolio of both domestic and commercial claims up to £50,000. These claims will include:
- New claims received directly from the client.
- Claims following the first adjuster visit through to settlement.
- Transferred claims from an adjuster for ongoing management.
- Write full and detailed reports for insurers, including clear recommendations for settlement.
- Produce accurate scopes of works based on evidence provided (reports, photos, and supporting documentation).
- Negotiate settlements with all parties involved, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
- Liaise proactively with insurers, policyholders, lawyers, and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently.
- Maintain consistent communication with all parties, reflecting the company ethos of quality and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
Whilst the role will be hybrid or based at home, you will be required to attend training sessions, team meetings at your local office throughout the year.
What we need from you:Cert CII and / or Cert CILA alongside CIP.
Minimum 2 Year Claims adjusting experience in Domestic insurance claims area
Problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to bring a claim to a conclusion
Effective communicator, verbally and in written communication
Effective Time Management,
IT literate, Business conscious.
