What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Review and investigate unclaimed property claims to determine outcomes and provide recommendations
Research and analyze state laws, statutes, and regulations related to unclaimed property
Communicate claim determinations and outcomes to claimants professionally
Conduct interviews and investigations to gather information for claim assessments
Engage in continuous improvement practices and participate in team effectiveness activities

What is Required (Qualifications):

Minimum of one year of experience with unclaimed property and/or claims/audit related work
Any combination of education and experience that meets the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position
Basic knowledge of relevant Federal and State laws and regulations
Effective verbal, written, and active listening skills
Proficiency in using a PC and MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Associate's Degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field
Experience in customer service roles, particularly in a government or regulatory environment
Familiarity with investigative and research techniques related to claims processing
Membership in relevant industry associations or participation in related training sessions
Knowledge of LEAN concepts and principles
