- Handle incoming calls and manage a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Initiate and hear arbitrations between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
- Determine appropriate recovery methods, including internal subrogation and external agencies
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- General knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
- General understanding of different lines of coverage, such as homeowners and auto
- Demonstrated commitment to company culture and values through participation in team activities
