Premium Auditor (Hybrid - Part Time)

Join the Premium Auditor team at ARMStrong Insurance Services, a leading provider of debt recovery and financial solutions. The role focuses on inspecting the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying manual rules and company standards.
  • Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and required records.
  • Schedule audits to maximize efficient use of time.
  • Correspond with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to set up audit appointments.
  • Examine policyholder records, gather data to determine correct classifications for business activities, and write detailed operation descriptions.
  • Prepare complete audit documents, explain results to insured parties, and communicate findings to the home office.
  • Travel to multiple audit locations; travel averages 2‑4 days per week within the assigned territory.
  • Hybrid position – work from home and complete remote audits 2‑3 days per week.
Job Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus at least two years of premium audit experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
  • Proficiency with PC software, including Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Maintain automobile insurance while employed, with bodily injury limits of at least $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident or $300,000 combined.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $44‑$46 per billable hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Part‑time hours with flexible work days and schedule
