Subrogation Specialist - Medical ; Remote

• Manage incoming calls and handle a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
• Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation and recovery methods
• Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Handle inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
• Initiate and hear arbitration between companies regarding disputed claims

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills
• General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claimsআমি
• BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related area, or equivalent experience
• General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
• Demonstrated ability to foster a positive company culture through participation in employee resource groups or volunteering
• Strong communication skills with respect for diverse backgrounds
