- Manage a designated volume of arbitrations, including initiating arbitration on disputed Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research losses to determine subrogation best practices and secure recovery rights
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring strict regulatory compliance
- Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
- File and hear arbitrations as required and determine appropriate collection methods
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
- Understanding of various lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
- Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
