XS Assure Limited (XSA), a specialist underwriter of financial and professional lines risks, is looking for a PI Underwriting Assistant to join our fully remote, entrepreneurial team. Since our launch in 2021, we have built a profitable portfolio underwriting UK PI risks for a range of carriers.

You will support underwriting operations by entering risk data, preparing and submitting quotations, issuing policy documentation, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Your day-to-day tasks will involve close collaboration with underwriters, finance, and operations staff to deliver exceptional service to brokers.

• Provide clerical and administrative support to underwriters
• Assist in the preparation and submission of quotations and policy documents
• Maintain accurate records and databases
• Maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in the collection of premiums
• Identify smarter and faster underwriting/trading solutions
• Contribute to technical audits and peer review processes to support an effective control environment

• Minimum 3 years underwriting or broking experience in liability insurance, preferably UK market with a recognised insurer, MGA or broker
• Minimum Dip CII qualified (or equivalent)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Fluent in English
• Excellent knowledge of underwriting processes and procedures
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent numerical and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication, organisational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment
• Highly productive

£30,000.00 – £30,000.00 per annum
