- Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
- Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims
- Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims efficiently with insureds and claimants
- Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed
- Actively contribute to shaping the company culture through participation in employee resource groups and other initiatives
- 4-5 years of claims experience, including 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
- High school diploma (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years experience in casualty claims within the P&C insurance industry
- Must hold an Adjuster's license for applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of employment
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage claims efficiently with minimal supervision
- 5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
- BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Commercial claims handling experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to company culture and community involvement
