Are you a proactive technical Compliance expert with Advisory and 2nd Line experience?

Have you worked in a global commercial Insurer with compliance experience in complex commercial, specialty lines and advising on relevant regulations such as SMCR and Consumer Duty?

Our client, a large international insurance organisation with offices across the entire UK, are hiring a brand-new Senior Compliance Advisory Manager to join their dynamic team in a 12M FTC (Contract) position.

Offering up to £95,000, 2 days working from home and generous benefits, this contract can be based in their Central office, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool or Bristol office.

For this role you will be or have:

• Insurance experience (this is a pre-requisite) gained within a global Insurer, Consultancy firm or Brokerage and technical 2nd line Compliance experience.
• Solid knowledge of SMCR, General Insurance pricing and M&A requirements.
• An ability to engage stakeholders at all levels across the business and provide pragmatic solutions and advice on regulatory issues.
• Strong product knowledge within Insurance and an ability to support regulatory reporting, liaising re FCA/ PRA compliance matters.
• A true SME with experience of challenging (when needed), and review of relevant regulatory risks including supporting a proactive positive culture towards compliance.

You will be looking for an opportunity which:

• Allows you to engage with senior stakeholders globally, including Executive committee members.
• An ability to hone your compliance advisory and assurance skills in a fast-paced insurance environment with exposure to General pricing, Operational Resilience and Consumer Duty issues.
• Develop your experience with challenging, advising and influencing business professionals in relation to regulatory compliance issues.
