Corporate Director – Business Applications & Digital Enablement

The Corporate Director – Business Applications & Digital Enablement is responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and continuous evolution of the company’s corporate business applications, including ERP, DMS, QMS, LMS, and other enterprise platforms.

In this role, the Corporate Director acts as a key partner to senior business leaders, ensuring that business applications effectively support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and digital innovation.

The company builds on a strong and well-established foundation, with a clear ambition to further scale and evolve its operations in a controlled, efficient, and compliant manner. Digitalization, data-driven insights, and applied AI are key enablers in this journey.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted digital partner to senior leaders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality and Corporate Functions
  • Define and own the enterprise application strategy and roadmap, aligned with business priorities and digital ambitions
  • Ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of corporate business applications
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and standardization
  • Identify and implement digital and AI-enabled use cases that improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making
  • Define and execute an effective sourcing, cloud, and vendor strategy
  • Ensure compliance with GxP, data integrity, validation, and cybersecurity requirements
  • Provide leadership to application teams and partners, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation

Your profile

Your letter of motivation and CV should show that you have:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent scientific field, with 10+ years of experience in supporting enterprise business applications
  • Proven ability to partner with business leaders and translate needs into scalable digital solutions.
  • Experience with cloud/SaaS, outsourcing models, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Pragmatic, business-oriented leader with a strong interest in digitalization and applied AI
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus
Languages

Good command of the English language, both excellent verbal and written communication skills.
