Our technology touches consumers, financial advisors, and large enterprise institutions. The vision for our advice platform is to become one of the most transformative technology platforms in South Africa’s financial services landscape. In this role, you will play a key part in this journey.

We primarily use Clojure for our backend, with a mix of Clojure Script and Type Script for our frontends. We utilize modern frontend technologies including React, Storybook.js, Webpack, Apollo, and NextJS.Our business is funded by reputable institutional investors including Futuregrowth and African Rainbow Capital.

Your responsibilities

Build our systems, focusing on creating beautiful, modular, and scalable frontends by converting Figma high-fidelity UIs into React Components.

Contribute to testing, integration, and deployment processes;

Assist in architectural and technological decision-making;

Coach and mentor junior team members;

Participate in hiring processes within the team;

Attend client demos and sales presentations alongside business development staff as required.

What skills you’ll bring

What you need Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years using modern JS stacks like React, Svelte, VueJS, or Angular 2;

Expertise in CSS and experience building pixel-perfect components/pages according to design specifications.

What will set you apart from others

Experience with

React

JS, Storybook.js, Type Script, or Clojure Script;

Frontend analytics and performance optimization;

Implementing testing strategies;

Experience in developing and maintaining design systems;

Willingness to learn Clojure Script;
